SARAKKONDRAI
Sweat drips off the brow
Like summer’s golden showers
Waiting for rain-bird
CHITRA POURNAMI
Barn owl fast asleep
Sea breeze soothes humid bodies
Full moon bright as sun.
SENNIRAM
Gulmohar aflame
Parakeets screech sweet nothings
Lovebites in the sky.

Her story was recently shortlisted for the H.G. Wells Short Story Competition 2019. She lives in Madras/Chennai and loves each of its seasons (almost) equally.
